HO HO HO! Time to Countdown to Christmas
We are hanging up our stockings, spreading good Cheer and Jingling All the Way. We have you covered for the recipes you need. This week we shared Linzer Cookies, a lightened version, Braised Fennel, the perfect side dish for Christmas, and Pumpkin Sage Lasagna Cups, the perfect dinner or appetizer.
It has been a particularly hard week for us. My hubby has been having some health issues this week and we’ve had a serious lack of sleep. We did manage to get our Christmas tree up and the house is decorated inside and out. I’ve been getting some cooking done for our two upcoming Christmas Parties.
Next week is more cooking and finishing my Christmas Shopping. As for Food Done Light, I have some great recipes to share. I have made a new favorite cookie, a lightened Cinnamon Chip Cookie. The feedback from my hubby’s work was that they were the best thing I have ever made!! A Garlic encrusted Pork Loin perfect for Christmas dinner and a quick easy side dish Honey Roasted Acorn Squash.
