A challenge to get healthy and lose weight in 2015
I am so tired of being of being on a roller coaster of weight loss and health. I have gained and lost the same five pounds all year. My husband’s heart condition is under control, so I don’t have that to blame. I even found some eating techniques that worked for me, but consistency has been a real problem. I started this blog to help me lose weight, and it did work in the beginning. So I am going back to the beginning and asking you all to join me. I stay on my diet and exercise better when I have people who are doing it with me.
That is where the Healthy Challenge comes in. We are going to take baby steps on our way to health. It all starts with going to the doctor and getting a physical. You have to know what food your body needs and what exercise you are capable of. Once you have that information, you can tailor the challenges to fit your needs.
Starting the first week in January, we will all be given a small challenge to accomplish that week. Each week after, I will add a new challenge. One new addition to Food Done Light, I am adding is a support Facebook support group. It is a private group called Food Done Light. You can join below:
The group is a forum for support, questions and tips that work for you. It is NOT a place for medical advice or to push your way of eating on someone else. Everyone has different nutritional needs, so I would ask that you respect what is healthy for one person may not be healthy for the next. A diabetics food needs can be very different from a heart patient.
I hope you will join me and we can make 2015 the year we finally get healthy and deal with our food issues.
