Lucy, our golden retriever, has been having a lot of ear infections over the last few summers. She has a nasty allergy to something outside. With all the ear infections comes a lot of medication. We found the easiest way to give her medicine is with a spoonful of peanut butter. A spoonful of Peanut Butter makes the medicine go down. I started noticing the spoons with peanut butter on them were not coming clean in the dishwasher. It was so frustrating to have to clean them by hand or completely clean off the peanut butter before putting in the dishwasher.
So my little one and I headed to Walmart to look for some new dishwasher detergent. I settled on Finish® revolutionary Powerball®. It cleaned the peanut butter smeared spoons the first time; there was no need to re-wash them. Oh yeah, I love that time saver! I don’t need to pre-wash the dishes or re-wash after they have been in the dishwasher. If you are looking to reduce your garbage, try Finish® Powerball® Max-in-1®. It is wrapper free.
With all the vet bills, my family has had to go on a strict budget. Vet bills are expensive. So I am looking for deals and savings. Finish® and Jet Dry® are offering two great deals at Walmart. Get $1.00 off Finish® Max-in-One 23 count and higher (automatic dish detergent), $1.00 off Finish® Jet Dry® 8.45 oz. (rinse aid) and a bonus offer an additional $1.00 off when you buy both Finish® Detergent (23 count and larger) and Finish® Jet Dry®. That is a total of up to $3 in rebates on Ibotta from Finish®. Just click on the links above.
Since you won’t have to worry about peanut butter sticking to your dishes, whip up my new favorite smoothie, Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie. I have been enjoying this smoothie quite a bit for breakfast. I just love peanut butter, but it is quite high in calories and fat. Adding a little to my breakfast smoothie is a scrumptious way to enjoy this childhood treat. Thanks to Elvis Presley for the inspiration. His favorite sandwich was peanut butter and banana. I know it sounds like a strange combination but it is rather magical. Just think of the banana in place of a fruit jelly. It is the same concept, a little sweet with the savory, nutty peanut butter. Don’t forget to get your rebates too for Finish® and Jet Dry®.

*I use PB2 - peanut butter powder to reduce the calories. **I don't like ice in a smoothie so I like to add a little water.
