If the time is between 3pm and 4 pm, I am having an intense snack craving. I cannot think about anything else. My mind goes to salty, crispy chips. I want them so bad! If I have a bag of chips in the house, there will be no stopping me. I will hear them calling me from the pantry. “Oh Christie, you need to eat me”. Ugh! Since these salty chips like to torment me, I try not to bring them in the house at all. Instead, I am making a small batch of my own salty, crispy chips. These are nacho cheese flavored baked tortilla chips, and they are scrumptious. With a few of these cheesy, spicy morsels, I can beat down that salty, crunchy craving. You can store them air-tight container for a few days, too. That makes them perfect to pop in your lunch box.
Make a big batch to serve at a party. People will be wondering how you made them. It is oh so simple.
