Baked Pear Cannoli - Simple Recipe that makes a fabulous dessert - broil a pear and stuff with cannoli mixture #ad #SplendaSavvies

All right, let’s go right to the pear in the room. It is stuffed with something new, something natural and yes it is still a SPLENDA® Sweetener Product. Your eyes are not deceiving you if you already saw the word “Stevia” on the box. SPLENDA® has come out with a new fabulous tasting, no calorie natural sweetener made with stevia extract. There is no added color, preservatives, or GMO’s in it.

Did you know the stevia leaves are made up of components called Steviol glycosides? Yes, I just looked that up! SPLENDA® is using the Reb D extract for it’s nice sweet and not bitter flavor. That is how SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Products was born. I have to say I am pretty excited about this. I may have even done a little dance when I opened the box. The taste is great. I often find Stevia too bitter, but this is not bitter at all.

To go along with the natural theme of this new SPLENDA® Naturals, I decided to keep things simple myself. It is pear season so why not enjoy this delectable Fall fruit and make it the star of the show. I made the baked pear into my cannoli wrapper and stuffed it with a scrumptious and creamy mixture of ricotta cheese, yogurt, cinnamon and chocolate chips. It is a simple dessert that is ready in minutes.

Plus Baked Pear Cannoli gives you a dessert that is centered around a healthy piece of fruit. With a quick adornment of a little sweetened ricotta, you have the perfect dessert for this Fall. The whole pear makes a gorgeous presentation on a plate, so you can feel good about serving it to guests.
