We are already on the countdown to school starting again, 11 days. How did that happen so quickly? Time to go back to the regular routine, getting up early, making a school lunch, homework, and driving to after-school activities. The list goes on and on. First we have the very long and expensive list of school supplies to get. Then I need to find easy, quick, and inexpensive lunch ideas. This summer, my daughter came up with the perfect idea. Making her own pizza lunch party lunch box. She loves the kind of lunch where she gets to put everything together. Thanks to munching on some Pepperidge Farm® pizza Goldfish® crackers, we came up with the idea of having a pizza making lunch box party to go along with them. It is a pizza extravaganza.

It is really very easy. My daughter put this one together. In one section is Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish, pizza flavored, of course. Next, we went with a Hawaiian themed pizza. This way we include a little fruit with the pizza. Cut up pineapple and ham go in another section. Fill a little baggy with shredded mozzarella cheese, and a little container with marinara sauce. (Fun little fact, the plastic container in the pictures was actually from my lunches when I was a kid) Add a mini bagel, but be sure it is already cut in half. Don’t forget the Wet Ones® Singles. They can enjoy putting the pizza together during lunch. Plus kids seem to eat better when they make their food.

I use to send a napkin in my daughter’s lunch box every day. She always proudly brought it home clean, while her sleeve was filthy. It still makes me laugh to think about it. Then I got smart. She loves getting a wet napkin at restaurants. To her, they are “way cooler” than a regular napkin. She doesn’t need to know that the Wet Ones® Singles are actually cleaning her hands and killing 99.9% of germs. She just thinks she has a “way cool” lunch. I know she has a healthy lunch and will have clean hands. Score one for Mom!
