If you want flavor galore, then it is time to whip up some Jerk seasoning. I know the list of ingredients is a tad long and can seem intimidating. It is beyond worth it, like way, way, way beyond, to infinity and beyond. Grilled Jerk Shrimp Roll with Tropical Fruit Slaw is a meal, not just a sandwich. You have the robust flavors and spice of jerk seasoning on sweet, succulent grilled shrimp. Then to give your mouth a little relief, a cool and refreshing, sweet and tangy coleslaw studded with tropical fruit. Is your mouth-watering yet? Oh yes, oh yes.

You could eat tropical inspired breakfast, lunch and dinner, oh and don’t forget those Tropical cocktails, and pretend you are on vacation for a day or two. Heck, be wild and go tropical for the weekend. Just the thought of being on a tropical island on vacation is driving me slightly insane. I seriously need a vacation, how about you? I can see you nodding your head. I feel like I have never gotten caught up on anything, since taking a break at Christmas. That is almost five months ago, and I still feel like a hamster running on a wheel. I am not getting caught up. So if I feel like I’ve been running on a hamster wheel, how come I haven’t dropped 30 lbs? I mean really, if I feel like I’ve been running non-stop, the pounds should be dropping off. Isn’t that only fair? Ok, enough complaining. I know it is my own fault entirely.
One of the things I like about Grilled Jerk Shrimp Roll with Tropical Fruit Slaw is that it feels like a fun dinner. It is loosely based on a lobster roll and given a tropical flair. The heat in your mouth from the spice can easily be extinguished with a tropical drink. This is the perfect dinner to eat outside with some reggae music blasting. Put on a pair of shorts and flip-flops, and maybe a bib. It is a tad messy. Sink your teeth into this delicious sandwich, and dream of sitting on a pristine beach with a cool tropical breeze flowing through your hair. You have absolutely nothing to think about or worry about. It’s all right, man.
