Food Done Light’s Best Healthy Savory Recipes of 2015

Looking back at the most popular healthy savory recipes from Food Done Light in 2015.

Perfect recipes to start 2016 with Healthy Cooking

I love to look back to see what recipes you all liked the best. In past years they were mostly sweet. This year all the Top 10 were savory and mostly salads. Yeah! I was quite happy to see that. While I do love an occasional sweet treat, last year I really only baked when it was specifically for the blog. I love seeing how popular vegetables were this year. Let’s take a look back at the most popular recipes and I’m going to add a couple of my favorites, too. Did your favorite make the list? I plan on making some significant changes next year. I would love your feedback. What did you like, what would you like to see change?

  1. These all look so good, I don't even know where to start! Maybe with that Peruvian chicken :). Happy New Year Christie, looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2016!
  2. I can't wait to try all of these, but I think I'll start with the chickpea quinoa salad first!
  3. Everything looks so fresh and vibrant. So many great dishes, although the Vanilla Cappuccino Protein Smoothie immediately caught my eye!
  4. I am such a fan of end of year round-ups!! It's like another chance to get caught up on everything I missed the first time around... The garlic, kale, and mushroom stirfry looks amazing.

Some good looking recipes. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
  6. I just recently found your blog and I am loving it. I especially liked the info you included in the broccoli salad about determining what was necessary to (any) recipe, what can be eliminated, what can be lightened and what has to stay.
  7. OMG -- these recipes! I want to try them all.
