My favorite healthy recipes from Food Done Light for 2014
Trying to pick my favorite recipes pf 2014 was kind of like picking a favorite child. They all have a special place in my heart, but some really did stand out. Most of recipes I picked where ones I was most proud of lightening. They were based on a recipe we love that I was able to lower the calories and fat on. What makes them my favorite is not just the taste, but the challenge to create something health for my family. That is where I derive the most pleasure. I hope you enjoy them too.
We have made these a lot. They have all the flavor of a deep fried version but are healthy.
Artichokes are my favorite vegetable and always remind me of our trip to Italy.
This recipe is all about flavor! Bold flavors and spices make this irresistible.
This was a family affair. My daughter and husband ground the meat. I flavored it, then my husband and I wrapped them. This is an incredible recipe.
This is my idea of the perfect Pumpkin Pie
We don’t make waffles very often, but these were unbelievably good.
I had wanted to grill a wheel of brie for a long time. It is such an easy and scrumptious appetizer.
This is another one for my husband. The shrimp is so crispy and dipped in a spicy sauce that reminds him of home.
A moist cake with loads of fresh pears, make this the perfect cake for any occasion.
I don’t have to go to a Thai restaurant to have my favorite Thai dish. I can make it at home now.
