Quick, easy and flavorful, Asian Halibut in Parchment is perfect for a weeknight and you won’t have any pots to wash.
As much as I love to cook, I dislike doing dishes. We always have a lot of dishes even though there are only 3 of us. So when I get the chance to cook and not dirty a lot of dishes, I am all over it.That is just one of the fabulous things about this recipe. You cook the halibut in little parcels of parchment paper put on a baking sheet. If you properly close up the parcels, the baking sheet stays clean. After you plate the fish, crumple up the parchment and throw it away.
Besides from the easy clean up, this dish is delish. The little parcels of fresh halibut and seasonings explode with flavor. The parchment keeps all the steam and flavor in which continues to baste the fish. How cool is that! This is a really simple recipe too. Layer the parchment parcel with fish and the flavorings and close it up. There is not a lot of chopping and no sauteing. The oven makes quick work of cooking the fish and you have a gorgeous week night meal.
